This is the bf’s favorite photo from the shoot this past Sunday and I have to tip my hat to Sonja for capturing perfect moments of personality in these photos. Jack’s playful nature just shines through beautifully.
Edit: I entered this costume into a contest! Please, if you have a moment, click this link to vote! [link]
I hate looking at your staff because it is so awesome compared to mine. Mine was bought on a chinese store and it's just a simple fishnet (like this [link] only made of bamboo) that was cut on the 'iron' part so that we could take off the net and cut like half of the 'iron' part turning it into a form that looke like his staff. Now I just need to give it more volume on the 'iron' part. Still, I quite made a little success on my old school at the Carnival party.
I don't mean to be ofensive of course. On the opposite, I'm saying that, not just the staff but, your whole cosplay is amazing.
No worries! I didn't take it in an offensive way at all. To be honest, I've never made a prop in my life until this Jack Frost staff and the other reason it turned out well at all was because someone did it before me, you know? Luckily, I found this awesome tutorial online and followed the basic instructions and before I knew it, ba-da-boom I can has staff. All in all, it was about 30 dollars and a couple of hours of detailing. But, really, the cosplay community is amazing. I think it's so wonderful that people are so willing to help one another share their craftiness, love and adoration for a certain character.

Anyway, here is the one I used: [link]
